History of Zn Metals
Start
Zn Metals was founded in 2004. It consists of 100% local capital.
In May 2008, in cooperation with ERDF, a new modern hot-dip galvanizing plant was opened in the territory of the former Latvian automobile enterprise RAF.
The technology of an Italian company was chosen as the basis.
Development
In 2011, the technology was modernized under the supervision of its authors, as a result of which Zn Metals LLC became one of the most modern enterprises in this industry in the Baltic countries.
In 2012, a workshop for pre-processing and preparing steel for hot-dip galvanizing, as well as a mechanical workshop building, were put into operation, which provided an opportunity to further ensure the preparation of metal structures for galvanizing at an even higher quality.
At present
In 2020, Zn Metals received the Business Award of the Year from the City of Jelgava.
Currently Zn Metals is one of the leading companies in the field of hot-dip galvanizing in the Baltics. The services we provide are also highly valued on the Scandinavian market and in other European countries.
Zn Metals continues to introduce more and more solutions to existing services – galvanising, passivation, wet painting, powder coating, shot blasting and metallisation – that will make cooperation with customers even more valuable, efficient and convenient.
